Yoko Theme- changing drop down box colors.
-
Hi, anyone know how to get the colors in a menu drop down box to appear differently?
I would like to have my Site Title, Post Titles and Links in white. And also my Text Color, Site Description and Widget Titles in white.
The problem with that is when I hover my cursor over a menu item and the dropdown menu appears it looks blank. When I hover the cursor over a menu item then it will appear in a grey color, but only then. I have paid for WP premium so hoping there is a way around this.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi, I’ve used some seriously obnoxious colors for demonstration purposes since I didn’t know what colors you wanted to use. :)
The background hover colors for the menu are here:
#subnav li:hover > a, #subnav ul ul *:hover > a { background: #00bb00; }This would be the non-hover color for the menu items:
#subnav a { color: #CC0000; }The text color and background color for the sub menu items would be here:
#subnav ul ul li a { background: #bbbb00; color: #bb5d00; }The hover color for the submenu text would be here:
#subnav ul ul *:hover > a { color: #005dbb !important; }This will change the text colors for you. On the site title and description, I see you have included those in your header image.
body, #content .page-entry-header h1.entry-title, .entry-title a, .widget h3.widget-title, .widget_get_recent_comments h1.widget-title, .widget a, .entry-content a, #content .entry-details a { color: #FFFFFF; } -
Thank you so much! I used the second two codes you put here and they worked beautifully. I tried using one of your other ones (the second one I believe) and it changed my font and didn’t work for some reason. The first one I haven’t tried yet.
Very helpful! So happy.
