Yoshki website validation

  Our company belongs to a professional body. One of their requirements is a validation button from a company called Yoshki.

  The button requires some Javascript to be inserted into our menu. Is there a way to do this?

  I am going to have to claim a refund on our hosting if this isn’t possible.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  It will not be possible to insert javascript into your WordPress.com blog as it is blocked for security reasons. That’s explained a bit more here:

  Is there any other way to verify your site with Yoshki other than the button?

  I have contacted Yoshki, support, but according to the documentation it would appear not.

  Yoshki support gave me an alternative link in an Iframe, it appears that doesn’t work either.

  The iframe HTML tag is blocked as well. You can find a list of commonly blocked tags here:

  Would it be possible to place an image in your sidebar and insert a manual link instead of using an iframe code?

  I have asked Yoshki.

  Is there really no other way round this? It’s a major compliance issue for us.

  I’ve been speaking to Yoshki support. They don’t know of any other WordPress hosting providers that have this issue.

  I fully understand the need for security, but this is a deal-breaker for us using your service.

  Please get back to us with a solution. If you can’t do this, I will have to transfer my site back to the old hosting provider tomorrow.

  Hi!

  This wouldn’t be an issue with a self-hosted version of WordPress using WordPress.org software. However, at WordPress.com, we block script and iframe codes for security reasons. You can read more about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:

  Unfortunately, there really isn’t a way around using the codes you provided. I definitely understand if that means you must move back to your old hosting provider. I’m happy to cancel and refund your recent purchase. Please just reply back to confirm!
