You can click on this link to visit http://cabgpatchclub.wordpress.com but it is not visible via search engines normal route. Why is this?

Sorry I meant http://cabgpatchclub.wordpress.com in the title, not cabgpatchclub.com but I still have the same problem and the blog is still not visible on wordpress own search engine. Surely this is not right and does not depend on number of postings?

Search engine rankings DO depend on the number of posts, among other things. The more good content you have, the more interesting you are to readers and thus to search engines.
It also depends on whether or not you’ve registered your blog with search engines, how many other sites have linked to it, and how old it is.
You are too new, and you don’t have a lot of content. Blog more. And register with Yahoo, Google and Bing via your Dashboard->Settings->WebHooks (it might be Tools instead of settings, I can’t remember, sorry).
Then wait.

You have only three posts. It can take 6-8 weeks for the search engines to index new blogs. Be patient and keep posting and they will find you.
