  Hello, last night I was trying to import my tumblr to wordpress. I left running all night since I know importing can take a while depending how many posts, but when I checked progress in the morning the import progress did not move at all and action/status still showed’ In progress…’

  I decided to clear account information to see if restarting will help, but now whenever I click on ‘import blog’ it gives me the message at subject title that importing is still happening but I can’t see the progress anymore.

  Is this a glitch? Or should I leave it alone/refresh to see if progress will be shown

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Due to the changes at tumblr there is currently heavy traffic at the WordPress.com importer so please be patient as staff work through the backlog. They need to reset your importer themselves.

  I figured the recent tumblr/traffic had something to do with it, just wanted to make sure.

  Hi there,

  I’ve double checked to confirm your import is indeed still queued. It didn’t cancel. But please do reconnect to your Tumblr account if you’ve disconnected it.

  We’re processing quite a few imports from Tumblr at the moment, which is causing a backlog of imports in our system. While it may look like your import failed, it’s just in line for processing, and luckily it’s still in the queue. Please allow this to run for the next 24 hours, and if it hasn’t completed by then, update us here.
