‘You can only have one running import at a time’ with no running import.

    I am trying to import my Tumblr blogs into WordPress. After not seeing progress on my 14259-post blog after a few hours, I cancelled the import by clicking ‘clear account information’ and tried again on a different blog, with less posts. But no matter what I do, the message that I can only have one running import at a time keeps popping up. How to I rectify this, and get WordPress to import my blogs?

    Hi there!

    Following Tumblr’s recent announcement regarding content allowed on their service on their service, we’re experiencing unusually high volumes of Tumblr imports, leading to some delays in these imports.

    Modlook tag is already added, so Staff will reset the importer for you.

    Hi there!

    It appears your Tumblr import was ongoing. For now, I’ve reset the Tumblr importer for your site so you can try again afresh.

    If it seems to take long, please be patient and don’t try canceling the process yourself – we’re experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted.

    If the new import doesn’t complete within 24 hours, please let us know.
