You do not own this identity error
-
I’ve just tried to comment on a Blogger blog using the wordpress account option which has always worked fine, but now it’s telling me that I don’t own that identity.
My account is wordpress.com – the blog in questions is http://www.celineslouchelounge.wordpress.com (that’s the subdomain name, it’s also under http://www.celinejeanjean.com).
I started a completely separate self hosted website through wordpress.org, and I’m wondering if that’s the problem (both .com and .org accounts are linked through Jetpack). My profile is set to have my worpdress.com account as my main website as I want to continue using my .com blog as normal.
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
WordPress.com subdomains don’t have the “www” at the beginning of them, so the subdomain address for your blog is this: http://celineslouchelounge.wordpress.com/
Can you try entering in the address with just celineslouchelounge (no “www” at the beginning) when you comment and see if it works that way?

Sorry that was in typo when I wrote the thread in the forum, I have been logging in without the ‘www’ – I’ve just tried to login again just in case though using http://celineslouchelounge.wordpress.com/ and it still gives me the same error.

Ah, thanks for clarifying! It looks like there’s still an issue with OpenID for WordPress.com blogs using custom domains (like your domain celinejeanjean.com). I let our team know that this is still an issue so they can investigate it.
Thanks for letting us know about that! I’ll get you an update as soon as I have more details from our team. :)

Hi there! Our team just launched a fix for this issue — can you please try commenting on a Blogger blog again and let me know how it goes? :)
