You don't have any wordpress sites yet
-
Hello, I set up a wordpress site last year which I have no problems with. I recently started a new wordpress site (blog) and this site has caused some issues. It seems I may have used the same email address for both sites but I can’t find an email to confirm this. I deleted the new site to try and resolve this but now when I try and access my older site it says ‘you don’t have any wordpress sites yet’. I would just like to gain access to the first site again but can’t seem to do so.

What is the URL of that site?
Have you read this support doc? https://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/There is a single email address that can be used on only one username account and not on any others. Issues Changing your Email Address
https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/#issues-changing-your-email-addressEvery WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.
1. Make sure your email address is correct here please https://wordpress.com/me/account
2. Then check in your email spam filter and under your “social” tab in your Gmail account please, if you use it. https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-notifications/gmail-issues/
If you do not find it then type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help. The Admin login link for that site is https://concretetrousers.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
and it appears that this username account registered it https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/concretetrousersThere are three questions you need to answer yourself:
1. What is the exact URL of the wordpress.COM hosted site in question?
2. Exactly which wordpress.COM username account registered it?
3. Exactly which email address was used when wordpress.COM username account was registered.
Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.
Clicking this link should display all blogs registered under the same username account, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden
If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibilityIf the log-in information is lost visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
If you check each and every possible email address and account and are not successful gaining access to the blog(s) then please complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff, and provide proof ownership, so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

Thank you. I have encountered another little problem. I would now like to make my new site using my old domain name (concretetrousers.wordrpress.com) however when I try this it says the site is reserved but I have since went into my account and changed the domain of the old site to acrylicsocks.wordpress.com. It still says it is reserved, any ideas?

When we register a username account the matching blog is reserved for our future use. It cannot be obtained by anyone other than the person who has registered the matching username account.
If and only if you have registered the matching username account log out, clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies. Then log in under the correct username account and as the blog is reserved for you and you will register it after logging in under the correct username account.
https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/?user=1However, if you changed your username then the blog URL will not be available for use under the new username account.
