You don't have any WordPress sites yet. But I do!
-
Hi there @gemmacevans,
A few weeks ago I tagged along in a topic but you thought I should create my own since that problem and mine weren’t alike. So here it goes: I’m having trouble getting to the back end of my website (sixtyspecial.wordpress.com). It has been a while since I logged in but at that time everything worked fine. Now I did not make any changes in users (I’m the only one) and/or permissions. But when I used my username and password I could log in but got a message that read something like ‘you do not have the right permission to use this site’. Then I remembered a second username that I might have used back then but did not remember the PW. I clicked the link to reset te pw and after that I could log in again, but now I get the message ‘You don’t have any WordPress sites yet. Would you like to start one?’
But my website is still visible, so either I’m doing something wrong or something goes wrong when I log in. Please help because the info that is now still visible is terribly outdated.
Thanks for the effort!

Hi –
In order to access that site you need to sign in to the
sixtyspecialuser account. Please see that is not the account that you are using here. -
-shame on me- I wish all problems solved as easy as this one… That did it… Just proves I have too many accounts and too many usernames. But that’s my problem. Thanks for helping me out!

Glad you were able to solve this issue!

If you have several accounts but you’d like all your websites with one account, you can always transfer your WordPress.com sites to your main account: https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/
That way, you’ll only need to worry about one account! It’s not a solution for everyone, though I thought I might mention it since it may be something you wish to consider. :)
