  Took a few months off from my website jlozanomedia.com. I recently just logged in, but WordPress says that you don’t have any sites. Checking the forums I see the main issue with this is that people are logged into the wrong account. I don’t think this is the issue.

  Im pretty new to all this, I recently purchased a second domain but just named it jlozanomedia.com again because I couldn’t think of a new name yet (will change it). Thank you for any solutions.

  Hi, after checking the domain registration for your website (jlozanomedia.com), it appears that it’s registered as a self-hosted site through hostgator.com. If this is the case, you may just need to try signing into your account using WordPress.org instead of WordPress.com. If you’re still having issues you should probably refer to the WordPress.org support forums (https://wordpress.org/support/) as they will be more useful to you for your self-hosted website. I hope this resolves your issue!

  Hi there,

  you may just need to try signing into your account using WordPress.org instead of WordPress.com

  Signing in using WordPress.org is impossible, as WordPress.org is not a hosting platform like WordPress.com, and logging into a WordPress.org username account will only give you the ability to post in the WordPress.org forums. It will in no way enable you to log into your site.

  That said, @dillweed5446 is correct that your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but was built using the open source version of WordPress, and hosted with Hostgator.com. You don’t see that site when you log into your WordPress.com username account, because that site has no connection at all to this account.

  To log into that site you need to sign in using the unique admin credentials that were created for that site when you installed the WordPress software onto Hostgator’s servers. If you no longer remember those, please follow the instructions for your version of WordPress at the link below, or contact support at Hostgator directly.
