You have charged me $120 and I have no idea why.

    Wordpress has charged my credit card and I have no idea why??? What account??? I shut this down and you have charged me $120. Do I have another account that is clearly not in use that you have unethically charged?

    Look forward to a prompt investigation and response.

    Given my complaint has been palmed off to a forum, does anyone have a direct email to contact WordPress as they make it near impossible to be reached. I have gone to my bank and they have now charged me 2 years running for some account I am not using. Therefore they would see this account is completely inactive but still think that it is ok to take money unethically. I am really disappointed.

    I have no idea what is going on. However, on the 28 January 2022 and now 2023 WordPress have charged me but I am not sure if you have been charging me for some other completely inactive account I have. I really need someone from WordPress to contact me via email and not post this to a public forum. Instead, be human, contact me and advise me why my credit card has been charged. Wherever and whatever account this is being charged for is clearly inactive as I am clearly not even accessing it. However, you seem to have no problem charging an inactive account – very unethical if you ask me. I want someone to look into this and inform me what is going on and to also refund me at the very least for the 2023 charge. As an FYI I did dispute the last charge but I gave up. Next steps for me is social media.

    I have already looked up the via this avenue. I suggest maybe you all contact me directly so this can be resolved??? I am sure you can see if this $120 recurring charge is coming from another WordPress account or something? Can you please talk to me as a human as your system resolution is not resolving this unique issue but I am tired of being charged a recurring annual fee for a product/service I am not using. It is highly unethical.

  • As a human who cares about your security, the safest, fastest option is to find the charge on https://wpchrg.com. You’ll see what it was for, and you’ll have a link to securely contact support directly. That will include information about the charge so that we can see it, too.

    If you do see the charge at wpchrg.com, can you please use the contact support option that’s there once you’ve found the charge? I can see you have not yet done that. Or, if you did click contact there and it didn’t work for whatever reason, you can reply here letting us know what the charge was for so we can look it up on our side.

    If you do not see the charge at wpchrg.com at all, please let us know and we’ll reach out by email for more details, but when it comes to spotting mystery charges, email is not as secure is the form would be, so you’ll want to avoid sharing any sensitive information related to the card.
