Hello –
The domain isn’t connected to your business plan at this time. Would you like me to reestablish that connection? It should fix things up. And just to clarify, you want to use bitcoinlearned.com for this project or a different domain?
-
Hello, thank you for your answer. Yes I would like you to reestablish this connection. I confirm that I want to use bitcoinlearned.com for this project.
-
Hi there,
I have reconnected Jetpack on our end and you should see bitcoinlearned.com as normal if you visit here: https://bitcoinlearned.com/
You should also have full access to the site admin areas as expected. Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
-
Hello, thank you for your responsiveness ! I now have access to the site administration.
I have an important question that was the cause of my initial problem. I built my site via a service provider that was hosted on LWS then once the site was finished I transferred my domain name to WordPress with my subscription but I did not find the presentation of my site that I had been given. book. I show you in attachment the representation. This is the reason why I deactivated elementor and jetpack thinking that it would restore my site to normal
-
Sorry for the clarification, I did not try to transfer the domain name but I connected it by adding the WordPress DNS servers on my LWS host.( I cannot transfer because it takes 60 days.)
-
Hi @stephane91750, it sounds like you transferred the domain, but not the site, correct? And it sounds like you want to transfer the files and data over as well so that the site will work with your account here on our services.
Was it made in WordPress, and can you still access it? If so, any of these methods should work:
- You can import using our plugin and these steps
- Or, you can import with Jetpack
- You can use another plugin like All In One Migration. If you do that, you’ll want to be sure to use these instructions. You can import using our plugin and these steps.
Whichever option you use, you’ll need to access the existing site, so if needed, please work with your previous host to restore that so we’ll have something to work with.
Let us know how we can help!

I still have one question, I no longer have access to my plan. Is the renewal automatically canceled?
-
I would need to re-access my plan to be able to re-connect my domain name to wordpress and be able to import the website files into WordPress. My website has disappeared again in the website management of my account
-
Hi @bitlead,
My website has disappeared again in the website management of my account
Looks like you’re a step ahead of me! Here’s what I’d recommend:
- Point the domain at the old hosting account, so that you can access the site. I think you’ve done this already.
- Once the old site is working for you (it’s working here now) you can use whichever of those import methods makes the most sense to you. Personally I’d recommend the Move to WordPress.com one first.
- Once your site’s files and data have migrated over, you can update the domain settings again to point to our services.
And then you should be all set! Let us know if you need help with any of this or have questions.
-
Hi, I cannot progress any further because my business plan has not been re-activated and I cannot use Move to WordPress and jetpack.

-
Hi there,
In this case the issue is related to the fact that you have connected bitcoinlearned.com to WordPress.com (and disconnected it from LWS) which makes the “old site” inaccessible.
This can cause a lot of confusion since you are able to see both sites in your WordPress.com admin area, even though the one on LWS is inaccessible. If I can ask for a bit of clarification, you are trying to move an exact copy of your LWS site to WordPress.com Business, yes? Do you have the ability to connect bitcoinlearned.com back to the copy of the site you have hosted there? You can do so by adding the following domain name server (NS) addresses to your domain:
ns21.lwsdns.com
ns22.lwsdns.com
ns23.lwsdns.com
ns24.lwsdns.comThis will set bitcoinlearned.com back to the LWS site so we can assess what you have there, reset the site on this end, and assist you with migrating your content first, and then moving the domain over only when everything looks OK.
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
-
Thanks I understand better where the problem comes from.
To answer you yes I tried to move an exact copy of my LWS site to WordPress.com Business.I changed the DNS back to LWS as requested. I am waiting for the rest of the procedure.
-
Hey there,
Many thanks for providing that information. Now that you have changed the DNS settings back to LWS, I’ve switched the domain of installation here at WordPress.com to bitcoinlearneddotcom.wpcomstaging.com, so that this site is accessible for the migration.
Are you able to access the site with LWS? If yes, you should be able to use the migration plugin to move the site over to WordPress.com, once complete, you should then see a duplicate under: bitcoinlearneddotcom.wpcomstaging.com.
If all is well the migration and everything is as it should be – at this point the domain DNS could then be changed to:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comAt this point the migration would be considered fully complete.
I hope this helps!

Hello thank you !
With LWS I t can not access to the site. When I click on bitcoinlearned.com the url goes to https://bitcoinlearneddotcom.wpcomstaging.com/. I have to enter my email and password but they are not recognized. I can’t access the admin interface
-
Hey there,
Ah ok – you may be looking at a cached version, or those DNS changes are still changing. They can take up to 24-72 hours to complete fully.
I can see the domain DNS have in fact changed here: https://www.whatsmydns.net/#NS/bitcoinlearned.com, so I’m confident you’ll be able to access that with LWS.
This guide here, explains how to clear the browser cache: https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache
I hope this helps to offer reassurance during the process.
-
Hello
I imported the site files on https://bitcoinlearneddotcom.wpcomstaging.com/ and modify DNS but now how do I redirect this to bitcoinlearned.com ?
-
Hi there,
I checked your domain bitcoinlearned.com, and it is now configured to point to your WordPress.com site bitcoinlearneddotcom.wpcomstaging.com.
If you’re not able to load your WordPress.com site when you type your domain, please clear your browser’s cache and try again.
