You removed my search engine

Please can you replace my search engine. When you switched me from Classic Mode you lost the search engine, cannot see how to replace it.
I do not need an upgrade of my subscription, want to stay with classic mode and pay £7 a month, like before, paid annually. I am not a business.
The site I need help with is cyberboris.wpcomstaging.com. It is not hosted by WordPress.com, but it is connected with Jetpack.

Can you tell us more about what you mean here? For example, which search engine was this? Where was it located? Has it moved or disappeared, or is it still there but functions differently?

I am referring to the search engine of my WordPress blog, which is located on front page of wordpress on extreme right at the top of the column (or was! it disappeared when you changed my format. )
I need to reference blogs I have written before and now i can’t.
Would be so grateful if you could put it back. If I need to renew £7 a month sub. paid annually, please let me know.

Although I am not techie, I think I have managed to follow your instructions, and added the search widget!
The widget is the ‘search’ widget, have installed at bottom of my list on extreme right but doesn’t matter it is at the bottom,
If it disappears, will contact you again, but thank you so much for helpjng me
