Did you allow a domain to expire?
Expired means over, dead, done and finished. https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/ We focus on not allowing domains to expire so others can purchase them when they are auctioned off and that’s why we have an auto renew feature. https://en.support.wordpress.com/manage-purchases/#auto-renew
Staff need details to recover the domain.
1. What is the domain URL?
2. What is the underlying .wordpress.com URL?
3. Exactly which username account registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog and purchased the upgrade for it?
4. When was the upgrade purchased?
5. When did the refund request and upgrade cancellation, or the domain expiration take place?I will type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question Also subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they respond and be patient while waiting. When you purchase a domain URL elsewhere you pay them for the domain URL. When you use that same domain URL on any site hosted by wordpress.COM you have to purchase an upgrade plan to map an existing domain hat has to be renewed every year as well.

I already tagged this thread for Staff to assist you in it. Instead I will remove the tagging and you can use another method to contact Staff.
Getting WordPress.com Support https://en.support.wordpress.com/help-support-options/
There is no phone support. Those who have a paid upgrade for a wordpress.COM site can use the “Contact Support” form, http://support.wordpress.com/contact/
The best WordPress.COM contact form to use now for Staff assistance is:
http://wordpress.com/help/contactLive chat will be available there only if we have Happiness Engineers available to chat. When they are not available using that link results in posting to this peer support forum. https://en.support.wordpress.com/live-chat/

Hi Claudia,
There are no sites on the WordPress.com account you are logged in to (photography7055). What is the URL of the site you have trouble accessing?
Let me know and we’ll go from there.
Thanks!

Hi Claudia,
Thanks for the link. claudiabureauphotography.com is a self hosted WordPress.org site, not a WordPress.com site. The differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org are explained here:
You won’t be able to access that site from your WordPress.com — it will have separate login details. This link will take you to the login page for claudiabureauphotography.com:
http://www.claudiabureauphotography.com/wp-admin/
If you aren’t able to log in, I’d recommend speaking to your hosting provider — this appears to be Unified Layer. They should be able to give you some advice.
Come back to me if you have any questions.
