You Tube Player in Side Bar?

  Hi all :)
  I have a quick question:
  How can i add a you tube player in the side bar?
  would be great to get an answer :)

  Link to your wordpress.COM blog? And consider linking it in your user name as explained in the sticky, 8 Things, at the top of the forum. That way we can tell if you are in the right forum.

  i would use the vodpod player. but it dont play the videos automatic. thats why i want to have you tube player in my side bar…

  awww :( thanks for the answer. is there not a way to play videos automatic? or music streams maybe?

  There is a way to play certain videos automatically, but YOuTube will not do it at WordPress.com. And I have to caution you very strongly against it; if a person has a system that’s the least bit unstable, autoplay will kill it and very often cause a crash. There are blogs I can no longer visit because they have autoplay videos on them.

  You can just search the forum for “autoplay” and find several threads of how to do it for different formats like Vimeo.
