  hi I have a blog, http://www.palmersgreentales.com and we have been uploading links to youtube videos quite happily and then this one will not upload

  not sure why. Please help

  thanks for your reply, I have tried this, and just tried again, but when I copy and paste either the full link or the one suggested by you tube, nothing gets pasted to my site. I am at my wits end having spent about 4 hours today trying to see if my settings had changed etc. But cant see any problems anywhere except with this post.

  I’m so sorry about this – I know it can extremely frustrating. I believe it may be independent to your browser/computer since I am able to do it.

  Can you please try clearing out your cache and cookies using the guide below?

  Solve Common Browser Issues

  Also, please make sure you are using the latest version of your browser:

  If that doesn’t work can you try using a different browser like Safari or Mozilla Firefox?

  We recommend using those browsers with WordPress.com over Internet Explorer.

  Also, would you mind if I went into your Dashboard and tried creating a draft post? I will paste the Youtube link in to see if it’s possible from my end. I will keep it as a draft so it won’t be published on your site.

  Thanks for your advice, I cleared my browser, used Safari instead of Chrome but had the same result. So please try my Dashboard when you are able.

  hi Grace have also tried using my husbands laptop, but that will not work and I have tried to link an earlier film to my word press home page and that was not accepted either. This is a real puzzle.

  I think I know what’s going on. Please make sure the Youtube link is unlinked. When you paste in the link, if it is hyperlinked, click on this button:

  

  Then the video will show up. I have created a draft post and you will see the Youtube video there.
