You Tube videos not displaying

  You Tube videos are not displaying on page. I’ve tried with the URL, with the code given on You Tube. I’ve run it through the Add Media converter. Nothing. I’ve also dumped screenshots but not cookies. I’ve refreshed the page. Any problems?

  I do see what you have done. Instead of following instructions you have posted incorrectly.

  You posted this:

  You ought to have posted this:
  [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v3FR2Ho4-Rk]

  Edit and post the shortcode correctly and the videos will display for you. :)

  You know what? I put the You Tube URL through the Add Media conversion, and that is the equation that I came up with, but without the brackets. I added the brackets because I thought that was what was missing. I think something is in error on your end, ma’am.

  There is no error on my end at all. The videos doisplay for me and not for you as you are not enetering the correct shortcode. You did not use this at the beginning

  The correct shortcode format is:

  This is frustrating. If you are running the URL through the conversion, shouldn’t the converter include that kind of thing? Because that is how I have been converting You Tube videos for more than a year.

  Get the conversion bit. I didn’t use that. I don’t need use it nor do you.
  Go to your post and edit it. Change every YouTube URLs to the correct youtube format and click update in the Publish box and they display on your blog just like they display on my test blog now.
