You Tube Videos won’t play back in blog (2)

    When you click the play button appears this message:
    “An error occurred, please try again later.”
    The short code I was inserted is:
    [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCxLptuHK_s&w=420&h=315&rel=0]
    I have seen the same problem in another WordPress.com blog.

    The 2 cow videos on your front page the Dylan video on your second page are displaying for me. I’m using Firefox 3.6.8. Also note that if the problem recurs there will be a delay in getting Staff support as this is what we see at the Staff support link:

    Thanks for your response.
    I’m also using Firefox 3.6.8, on Windows XP, and in the other blog I talk about I seen the same with Firefox 3.6.8 on Ubuntu (latest version).
    Currently the embedded You tube videos don’t display, both two in my blog and also on the other blog. I’ll check on several more blogs .
    If you can see the videos embedded, may be a local issue, but not an error in short code.
    On You Tube directly there are no problem.

    The second “cow” isn’t an embedded video, is a linked image, this is the trick I use when there are problems with embedding.

    And thanks again for inform us about the staff “break” (brainstorm or hiatus … no matter), hoping they’ll return even more wise. ;-)
