Your automated monitor is killing yet another blog.

  • No. It is not fixed yet. As previously stated, we will follow up once we hear back from that team. Understand that we don’t have a timeline on their work, nor can we predict a day/time when it will be completed. As soon as we have more information, we will update you. Our team works 7 days a week, and if an update comes in over the weekend it will get shared.

It’s an issue that shouldn’t even come up. Three blogs in one year by the same person? One who’s been using WordPress since 2015? I’ve heard the once we hear something we’ll let you know before and never heard anything. Looking at the stats on the side I started this thread three, THREE, 3, weeks ago, and still nothing. If they’ve identified the issue fix it. Christ, I can’t be the only person using WordPress going through this. Again, member since 2015, never had this happen until 2022, what’s going on?

Hello? Anybody there? Like to have this fixed.

  • Unknown's avatar

What’s going on? Still waiting to get this issue fixed. Won’t even tell me what it is. I’m sure something that shouldn’t ever happen. I know I can’t be the lone one dealing with this.

  • Hi there,

We understand your frustration and appreciate your patience. We are indeed looking into the issue and what we need to do to resolve it. As soon as we hear back from our developers regarding the matter, we will let you know.

    Thanks again.

This has happened to three blogs in a year. My original blog, drewmartinwrites.wordpress.com has the same issue hence why I started not one, but now two blogs having the same issue. I had a month long Halloween project I don’t get to post now.

Four weeks. That’s when I started this, trying to get this fixed. A month and still nothing? Every other day I get an email from WordPress asking me to pay for some service. You really think I’m going to? After a month, why isn’t this fixed?

  • Unknown's avatar

A MONTH? Why am I still waiting for this to get fixed?

  • Hello there,

Thank you for your continued patience on this matter. Unfortunately, we do not have any updates for you yet on this, however, as a reminder please know that all features for your site are live and functioning.

Your site is publicly available with only visibility on the Reader affected at this time. While we continue to work on this, please see our guide to SEO for additional guidance on increasing your site’s visibility https://wordpress.com/support/seo/

If people can’t see what I post in the reader then there isn’t any reason to post anything. I’m not getting any traffic to my blog, new followers, views, ect. If they can’t see or find my posts in the reader. That’s the whole point. Christ, it’s been a month.

The Reader isn’t the only way for people to see your site. In fact most visitors visit your site directly. To get more views, https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-more-views-and-traffic/. Also read the link aleone89 gave you.

That’s all well and good, but I want this issue fixed. The last few things I posted I used categories, tags, ect. No views, no nothing. Is it so hard after a month to figure this out and fix an issue that shouldn’t be an issue to begin with?

  • Unknown's avatar

My original blog still gets some views, but I’ve had it since 2015 and it has over 1,600 piece. Nothing new I posted on drewmartinwrtes.wordpress.com got anything. In 2021, I got over 10,000 views, the most I’ve ever had. Don’t give me excuses and read this or that. Just fix it. Three blogs in a year? Christ. Just fix the issue. Why is it even an issue. Been using WordPress since 2015 and never had this happen. I don’t want to read this or that. I know what works. Fix the issue.

  • I know it’s rather frustrating. I’ve just sent you an email, so it’s easier to keep in touch about this. We’ll reach back again via email once we have an update for you. For now, I’ll be closing this thread.
    Thank you for your patience.
