Your blog stats – please read.

thanks for letting us know, it was a scarey thought to think that over a years worth of stats had gone :( lol

-
I almost screamed when I saw that my blog stats was reset to 1. Thanks for the updated info. Can’t wait to see the upgraded feature. More power!
-
Good to see some new stats features coming. Bit of a worry when it impacts adversely on the live system so dramatically while being tested.

Is it me – or are the Stats slow? Other things have not updated yet as well, such as the busiest day feature. When will the stats be ‘fixed’?
-
It’ll probably happen soonish, but rest assured that your data isn’t lost, just slow in catching up.
-
I recently prayed for one STATS feature and that’s for each blog post to have its own stats. I have a feeling this prayer is about to get answered.

Cum pot sa adaug si alte teme la un blog facut pe platforma wordpress>? Si cum imi pun un avatar de la gravatar? Plese reply

My own stats have slowly dropped the past few days. I get pretty regular views, but the last few days have been alarming. Guess the new stuff is being implemented still.?

I pulled a string and had Matt Cutts at Google check out my blog; he said that it wasn’t sandboxed, was appearing normally, and that “when the blog is a little older” it will google higher. I’m wondering now if that means that for some reason Google is seeing our blogs as younger than they are (since mine is years old and has been at raincoaster.com since before Twitter was a twinkle in its creator’s eyes).
Could it be related to the installation of the sitemaps? I’m just guessing here, but my blog used to commonly be on the front page of Google for the things I’ve blogged about; now it’s often five to ten pages in, except on image searches, where it’s back at the top. Very weird.
-
So that’s what sandboxed means? I was confused what you meant..
Could it be activity? I’m sure you’re posting a lot less than you used to on raincoaster.com [not an accusation, just a statement!] and I remember times you had 3-4 posts a day for weeks.
-
“Sandboxed” in that context means Google took my blog and threw it down a pit. In other words, I am artificially downgraded.
Yes, I’ve considered that I’ve been posting less, but am not sure that would account for the RECENT change I’ve seen. I averaged five posts a day for the first two years, but for the last year it’s been pretty steady at one.
-
I should add that some of those posts still get heavy traffic from google, especially around holidays. So lack of hits isn’t the reason.
