I don’t know how to activate some pluggins.I would like to have on my first page the users online .It is that possible? I need to know who visiting me, as it is on the orget blog domains…i want to see the users with their name and ip

That’s funny since a few days ago the mobile widget was the only thing giving a correct daily total, and for now it’s frozen at somewhere like 0300 GMT today.
I’d really love to see a ‘Current Status / Issues’ page in these forums. Surely not unreasonable to provide this and it would be much more informative and efficient than a days-old sticky which isn’t being regularly updated.
‘Things will be looking a little weird around here for a while’ likely wouldn’t feature in many customer service manuals these days. Scary as it seems, even the UK’s Network Rail tend to be more specific with their engineering updates — well, most of the time, anyway…
Looking forward to seeing the new rollouts working smoothly soon.

Does the testing of the stats have anything to do at all with the wrong timezone?
My stats just changed to the 28th, but it’s still the 27th at 6:30pm here.…I also wonder if it’ll be possible to see how many viewers actually create those “pageviews”.
I also hope the new stats thing will be more thorough and deeper than what it is now. >_>; -
Okay, I wondered why I felt totally alone out here. I didn’t see anybody getting on and then all of a sudden ZOOM! 173 hits. Holy smoke! Well, I guess I better start outting this thing out on the Internet search engines now. Boy what a mess! I’ve had some response to the web logs I’ve started and I hopethat this will have a serious impact on the things I seriously care about.

I cant understand why the stats need to be down for such a long time! as another user pointed out there is surely a test platform, so as WP will know and understand the stats are a good indication of how content is going etc, so I guess the best advice is stop blogging until you get this stats version sorted.

I don’t know about anyone else but this is torture, I’m new, maybe why I’m like this, but my figures going up was a big incentive, I’m lost now and loosing enthusiasm by the minute never mind the day or possibly week, what’s happing WP let us know!!, your post was too vague and quite frankly not good enough, I’m about to jump if there is no update … just bad timing I suppose but that’s how it goes. tell me what’s going on or loose me and many others I expect, it’s a shame as I was just about to launch my website on WP which I am definitely postponing till more information is available.

I haven’t experienced some of the dramatic drops others have – instead my hits have more than doubled over the past few days – but maybe that’s just another side effect from implementing this new stat function (so I won’t get too excited just yet). However for some reason my ‘busiest day’ stats don’t match the actual number of hits for the day specified.

Pace, I think your doubling is theft – you are stealing our hits! The m.wordpress gadget is still off. My other numbers are still messed up. I have to agree with others that an update page would be nice, or perhaps a staff person could type it here.

I have some really weird things going on in my stats. I have “referrals” coming from the front page, and I know I’ve never had a top 100 blog..wondering if a hacker is on my blog at another location. I also have someone who “clicked a link” on my blog that I never had a link to. It’s some kid’s diary! Does anyone know what is going on?

Well, I solved one of them…possibly both…it was one of those weird automatically generated posts at the end of one of my latest posts. As for the front page being used as a referral that is still very weird.

Hmm, for the last three weeks, I havent had *any* stats at all, no visitors, no pageviews, no postviews…I know I have visitors…so something is off here :(
Are you sure my data is safe? looks like you have lost it :(
It says the plugin is installed, and working…I dont think so! :P -
So I’m wondering what the status of the stats upgrade is. Today around 3:00 pm Pacific, my stats disappeard and were replaced by a graph of 2003 through 2005 with regions A and B. No idea what that’s all about, my blog is only a few months old.
I know the old stats were unreliable, but at least they were stats pertaining to actual days my blog was in operation. I could look at them and pretend they were accurate enough to at least track relative changes. Now…not so much. In fact, not at all.

That was not a spam!, that was a post to allow members to check out whats on offer in the market due to the service or lack of that is being currently experienced over the stats upgrade, I have spoken to dozens of people who are disgruntled and frustrated at the length of time this is taking, members have been asking questions the information supplied was able to provide answers, the only problem you may have had was that it was not only “wordpress” so now there is no FREE Speech?
