course you didnt remove in error if it had any mention of alternative blogging software and course wordpress would likely agree with you, “Freedom of speech is the freedom to speak freely without censorship or limitation.” that post was clearly censored and limited.

If someone wants to post here that http://blogspot.com is wonderful, that http://typepad.com is the best ever or that http://livejournal.com is the place to be then that’s great. We have no problem with those or any other service.
But spamming the forums here is not acceptable and if two of the most respected people here said it was spamming then it was definitely spamming.Stats may be taking longer than people would like but stats has never done anything but get better and this is no exception.
As for service I believe that ours is way better than blogspot or LJ or any other free service. As people pay for typepad I would expect their service to be nothing short of miraculous. You may disagree and you can – but don’t spam the forums please.

Is the change affecting Alexa rankings as well? Although my site meter shows no change over the last three months Wp blogstats do, as explained here. What is disappointing is that Alexa seems to pick up low stat figures of WP.
I know that Wp administrators are on the job and on hands on the issue, as always.Matt ey al you guys have never disappointed.The best is yet to come. We believe you. But this query was to know the connection to Alexa.

WP admins, could you plx tell us when this hits/views issue will be over cause it really disorients my blogging approach. How can I know if my hits number is real and not spam ones?

Ok…how long are we going to be waiting for the upgrade to be finihsed? It’s been two weeks now and I’ve lost 10,000 hits – When will the upgrade be finalised?

My stats have been low this past few weeks, but my Alexa ranking has jumped. Not sure if Alexa is just slow to catch up or what. Or perhaps the states are just not showing up on WP, but being recorded by Alexa.

i love stats! it would be great to know how many views we get on a particular article and where they came from? will it be detailed?

just wondering the status on this? my blog stats chart doesn’t match the sum of the detailed listing – is the chart now including subscription reads, or is this just a sign the stats are still in flux?

I can’t see any stats. I get “You don’t appear to have any blogs yet, why not start one?” and I have more than 5 blogs.

No change in stats results, but the top posts widget does not work anymore. That is sad. I spend a lot of the time vaticinating there.

Top posts widget just came up blank this morning. Everything worked fine yesterday. You WP guys still tinkering with the stats and all? ‘Cuz blank widgets look like coding errors to visitors ….
