Your Connection is Not Private

  Earlier this month I added a new domain and made it my main page. formally dorkofalltrades.wordpress.com, now it is dorkofalltrades.net

  Its been pointed out to me that the new domain is unsecure. Without a plugin page on my admin site I am unsure how to remedy this. Please help.
  Particularly, following links from our social media pages on mobile, the viewer is warned my sites are unsecure, and “your Connection is not private” it also says Attackers might be trying to steal your information from {site}

  … we cannot issue SSL certificates for custom domains (mapped or registered at WordPress.com) at the moment.

  Hi @dorkofalltrades,

  When you’re sharing links to your site, are you sharing them with https URLs like this:

  https://dorkofalltrades.net

  If so, that will result in an error as Timethief mentioned. We’re unable to provide SSL certificates for custom domains. However, provided your visitors access your site over an http URL like the following:

  http://dorkofalltrades.net

  They shouldn’t have any trouble!
