your connection is not private

  hello!

  So many of people have told me they are getting the error message “your connection is not private” warning message when on my website and the https:// is crossed out in red in the bar….

  Does anyone know what do I need to do to fix this?

  Hi there!

  This is a known browser-related issue (Google Chrome) and does not have anything to do with WordPress.com.

  Websites use SSL (secure socket layer) to keep any information you enter on their pages private and secure. If you see the SSL error “Your connection is not private” in Chrome, your Internet connection or your computer is stopping Chrome from loading the page securely.
