Your Connection Is Not Private error
-
Howdy!
I’m running a WordPress.org site (www.typhonsfall.com) on a Bluehost server and I have recently encountered an issue where anybody trying to access the site is greeted with a privacy warning message, which cannot be bypassed without a few clicks.
I’m using the Hestia Pro theme, if it matters, in it’s original form. I’m not running any special plugins.
I haven’t been able to find a solid solution for this yet. If any of you can provide some insight, it would be much appreciated.

Hi Jake,
Since http://www.jakedenison.com/ is not hosted on WordPress.COM we do not support that site because this forum only supports the sites hosted on WordPress.COM.To get help in future, please post your question on the WordPress.ORG support forum: https://wordpress.org/support/
Both(WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG) are different products. You can find out the differences between them here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
re: Your Question
The error will show up only when you try to access your site using HTTPS(https://www.jakedenison.com/), to solve it try accessing it using HTTP only like this: http://www.jakedenison.com/It mainly happens when you try to access and HTTP only site using HTTPS. To be able to access your site using HTTPS, you need to buy an SSL certificate for your site. If you want you can also force your domain to use HTTPS by following this fastdomains guide(since your domain is hosted by fastdomain): https://my.fastdomain.com/cgi/help/599.
NOTE: HTTPS protection will not be provided even if you force HTTPS. To get an actual sercure HTTPS solution you need to buy SSL certificates.
Thanks!

Hi critology,
Please start a new thread for your question and add the ‘modlook’ tag to bring it to staff attention. Once you’ve done so, we’ll take a look.
Thanks!
