First off, please do not type in all caps. On the internet it is considered yelling.

What “option box” are you talking about?

Did you buy the CSS or custom design upgrade?

Didn’t intend for it to appear as yelling…. only important….

The option box in menu where pages are placed to create a menu there are choices in the page box inside the menu and CSS CLASSES (optional) is one of the choices for input…. is it not working? or Do I need to understand wordpress style…. i put proper code and it does not work….

The CSS classes in the custom menu page will only apply to the text in the menu, not to the entire menu, and “background-color: #CDEC24;” is not a class, it is a declaration. A class would be something like .nav and it would have to be in the CSS itself before you could apply it.

The only way to change the background color for the entire nav would be if you purchased the custom design upgrade or already had it. Then you would change and/or declare a background color for the nav div in the CSS.
