Your Email says I have an expiration date BUT….

In my history it indicates there are no upcoming charges. I believe my non profit has a free account. You do have my credit card. Do I have to pay anything? Will my account expire as indicated in the email.
-
You can check that charge at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/. If you still have questions you can use the contact form on that page.

Hi there!
Are you talking about the site macomblibraryfriends.org? If so, you’re right that it’s on the free plan, however, it is using a custom domain and that is what’s about to renew.
If you’re planning to keep using the domain (macomblibraryfriends.org) I wouldn’t recommend letting it expire as you may lose it forever.
Here’s more information about the domain expiration process:
To renew the domain, you’d want to log into the account with which you registered it (have a look at the email address to which the notification about the renewal was sent).

Thanks for responses. I found under the ? of the domain-expiration link the domain name will be billed automatically and they must notify you a month ahead. What confused me is under “billing history” there is no record of any payment. I am now assuming it will go through and I will check my credit card to create the receipt I need.

Our domain name is macomblibraryfriends.org. My old credit card was stolen and I added the replacement card a few days ago. I need a receipt as well and don’t see any payment under my history. THANKS.

The domain is under a different WordPress.com account, not the one you’re currently logged in with.
It will expire March 6, 2020, and the card on file is still expired.
If you don’t recall that password for that account, we have some options for you at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/
