    tried a few times, everytime i received an password re-sent email, the link takes me to an error that the password resent link is invalid. (this is for a different account)

    If that link to reset takes you to a WordPress.com page, try logging out of this account before using it and see if that does the trick?

    If the link takes you outside of WordPress.com, please keep in mind that if WordPress.com does not host the site, this question will be better for WordPress.org forums. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are a little separate, and that can be confusing.

    Let us know the site on the other account you want to access if you’re still stuck?
