“Your theme does not support navigation menus or widgets.” for Luminate?

    Good afternoon,

    I recently started my first WordPress site (aside from working on an existing site for my client) via WordPress.com and using the Luminate theme. I also installed the elementor plugin, elementor development, and elementor addons plugins. My end goal is to make a transparent header, and basically make the header I have made through Luminate (or a similar header made through elementor) transparent. I found this article to make the background transparent, but I’m unable to select a menu/insert a menu because I’m getting this error code “Your theme does not support navigation menus or widgets.” I know I can add a menu using the included theme header, but can’t make it transparent that way. Thank you so much for your help :)

    Hi Lumi –
     
    I can clarify this question about menus. When you see that message, it means the theme is built to incorporate the navigation block instead of the classic menu. 
     
    We are not able to provide support for Elementor. Our scope of support only includes the products that WordPress.com builds and maintains.
