  To change password, your tutorial at https://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/#change-your-password says to click on your Gravatar (profile picture)and then go to the side bar menu on the left and click security. It’s not listed. Now that I click on support is when I see it.

  I just want to clarify some confusion here; WordPress comes in two flavours: self-hosted and WordPress.com. You can view the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  The guide you linked will help you change your password for a WordPress.com account. You can just change your password here: https://wordpress.com/me/security

  For self-hosted WordPress, please contact your hosting provider or try following this guide: https://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
