  I am trying to renew my domain name mapping subscription. It is set to automatic. I do not want it to be automatic. I have gone to my account page and can see no place where I can renew it now. My credit card has expired so I need to use a new one. I do not want to load my credit card onto my account. Could a Happiness Engineer please contact me and make me a little happier than I am right now :).

  The issue is that the WordPress.com user account that you are posting from is not the owner of that upgrade.

  Typically this happens because you ended up with a second WordPress.com user account at some point and THAT account is the one that was used to purchase the upgrade. You will need to log into that second account in order to renew the upgrade.

  Just to make sure we’re on the same page, what is the URL of the domain mapping upgrade?

  I’m not sure if I understand. I have two domains in the same situation and I accidentally titled the thread with one (copied from the email sent to me) and then sent the question from the other blog. The problem is the same with both – I cannot find where I can either renew manually the domain mapping for either one. Also, I’m not sure which url you want?

  So, the issue is that the WordPress.com user account that you are posting from is not the owner of the upgrades that you are trying to renew. They are owned by another WordPress.com user active on your site. You will need to log into that user account in order to renew.
