When I comment on another blog, it tells me that I am trying to publish a comment as, then gives the alternate email address for a different blog that I have, which I am not even logged in as. It will not allow me to change the email address to the one that I am currently using.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I need to let you know that I have a health condition which is why I started a blog with a different email address and totally separated it from my Life in the Foothills blog.
Not wanting to reveal publicly that I am the author of this other blog, which I started to help those with the same affliction and because my employer follows my blog on the Life in the Foothills, I wanted to remain anonymous.
On the second blog I have tried to reply to folks and I get the message am I responding as the log on with the Life in the Foothills sign on, and I cannot say thank you for signing up to follow me. Yesterday was the first day that I wanted to thank those who have written stories for the Mondays Finish the Story blog, which is a second blog under Life in the Foothills, and it now comes up with me trying to reply from the other separate blog. Different email address totally.
Is this a computer IP address issue? If so, it should not be based on the computer but on the email address for the site.

I can totally understand your need for anonymity. When you comment, the email that will appear is the one connected to your user account (not your blog). Because you’re using the same user account to manage both sites (babso2you), the same email address is displaying no matter when you’re commenting.
Here is my suggestion, which will insure that your accounts/sites stay separate:
Create a new user account, with a unique email address for your health-related site. Move that site to the new account, using these instructions:
Use one browser (Firefox, for instance) to log into/manage Life in the Foothills.
Use another browser (I suggest Google Chrome) to log into/manage your health-related site.
This way, you’ll keep both sites entirely separate and the cached (saved) information in your browsers will relate to each individual account. If you want to comment with your health-related user account, you’ll use Chrome, and if you want to comment with your other site’s account, you’ll use Firefox.
This will keep everything separate, and allow you to secure your privacy.
Let me know how this works for you, and if I can help further. Thanks so much.

The other blog that I have uses a different user name and email address. It is not attached to Life in the Foothills at all. When I am trying to comment to those who have signed up with Mondays Finish the Story, doing this by wanting to leave a comment on their blog, it comes up with the anonymous sites log in.
How does what you suggest fix the issue on the LITF and MFTS?
I did set up Chrome to use with the anonymous site.

Hey there,
I’m going to drop you a private email. It’s difficult to clear all of this up without being able to talk about specific account names and email addresses. For the sake of your security, that is a conversation better suited to a private discussion, rather than public.
Keep an eye out, you’ll be seeing an email within the hour. Thanks much!

Thanks for the heads up. We’ll keep our conversation constrained to that email, now :)
I’ll close this topic here.
