Youtube clip not showing
-
Suddenly I can’t get a YouTube clip to show. It worked, and then I edited the post to correct a typo in another paragraph, and now it won’t show.
Here’s the clip:

And here’s my post:

Why won’t the clip show up?

it’s probably that you’ve got so many YouTubes on one page. The more you’ve got, the likelier a failure like this is. Generally when it happens to me (at 6 or more YouTubes per page) I have to clear out the cache and do a total restart; that always seems to fix it.

Weird; it should work. I checked out the video on YouTube too, and it works there and they’ve enabled embedding. What you might want to do is just delete the whole post and re-post it. Copy the lyrics and all first, but copy them into NOTEPAD or something that strips out the formatting. Some weird hidden tag might be your problem. Then paste them in from that format-free copy and add formatting to each bit at a time.

That’s not what’s there though. The poster has:

Hi Guys, I got it. Instead of doing a cut and paste from youtube, I just need to retype the whole link. Thank you.

No, that’s not the issue at all. You can cut and paste from YouTube, you just can’t have any formatting tags in the URL when you paste it in. Nor can you have any creeping in from the rest of your post. Check it in the HTML editor before you post it, just to make sure your YouTube code is clean with no extra “fontfont” things in it. Those were added from your own page, not from YouTube.
