YouTube default

I’m new to WordPress and have been having a hard time resizing YouTube videos. At this point my understanding is I can’t make a video smaller than 200×113. If I try to make it smaller under custom size on YouTube it will default back to 560×315. If I change it on my own within WordPress it seems to always do the same.

Why is this? Is it a function of pixels or something I’m not understanding? I don’t think 200×113 is necessarily small enough but don’t see what else I can do. I’ve spent way too much time on this.

Actually, nothing I do works. The videos are all always the same size. I’m using WordPress 4.0 and have spent well over six hours on this now. I’ve done literally everything on every help page I can find and yet the video is always the same size. I just do not know what to do.
