YouTube down or just me?

I can’t get into YouTube’s homepage. Is been hours. Is it down or is it just me having problems? All videos on my blog are gone. Just blank spaces. Would there be a kindhearted person, who would try to go to their site? Any luck?

I checked http://raincoater.com and her youtubes seem to be working. She could probably write a book on youtubes so I’ll leave this thread for her to answer. I’m sorry I can’t be more helpful. :(

WordPress has been working fine for me all day, as has YouTube. What sometimes happens is that something, either your cache or your connection pipe gets full and YouTube won’t work: the vids won’t display on your blog, you can’t go to their home page, nothing. When this happens, clear your browser cache and, for safe measure, do a restart. That generally clears the problem up for me.
Also, it happens more often if you have a lot of videos on a page. Keep it to six or fewer if you’re not on a good high-speed connection; that makes a huge difference.

Raincoats? YIKES! I feel so stupid. Glasses – I need glasses. Sleep – I need sleep too. I’ve been answering questions since I got up but that’s no excuse because lots of folks work 12 hour days. Not only that but I’ve been thrice wrong today … sheesh … she’ crawling of to bed now. :(
