Youtube embed not showing up on my website but shows up on /blog/

    Hello, I copied and pasted this code from a wordpress help page to integrate it into my website, well so far it integrated my posts, but doesnt integrate the embeds inside the post from the /blog/ this is the code im using

    <?php the_date(); echo '
    ‘; ?>

    my posts show up in text, but the embeded videos do not show up on website but show up on my wordpress page

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello,

    Here is how you can easily use Youtube videos in your posts and pages, as well as in your widget areas and in comments you leave:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/youtube/

    Apart from this, I don’t think you will need to add any additional code to make the videos work.
