YouTube embedding not working?

  YouTube embedding not working is not working today for me in any browser. And these are not embedding-disabled videos. Anyone else having this problem?

  How are you embedding them? I always use the shortcode, [youtube=URL] and it always works for me. I just did a post to test with the shortcode and it worked fine. http://drinkscoaster.com/2014/05/03/cheers-to-nick-and-nora/

  Please give us a link to the post where it isn’t working, and the URL of the YouTube you’re trying to embed.

  I can’t even embed this clip, which I did successfully embed yesterday, as you’ll see on my blog:

  I have tried both of these today in a new post (just to take this clip as a test):

  <iframe width=”420″ height=”315″ src=”//www.youtube.com/embed/tI5qxjWutrs” frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen></iframe>

  And I have restarted. And tried on both Chrome and Safari on a Mac.

  Have also tried your youtube=url formula. Zero embedding. All I see is the link. Feature seems dead.

  OK .. if it’s any help to anyone, this inserted itself before the YouTube urls:

  <p class=”p1″>

  When I got rid of this manually, the video embedded. If this is going to happen every time, it should be reported as a bug. It was happening in repeated tests with different clips.

  Sounds like your theme has a bug.

  Maybe, it’s a “retired” theme. But it was ailment-free yesterday!

  Sorry for the trouble you had with this!

  I’m seeing that the Youtube videos have started showing up in your blog without problems. Were you able to sort things out?

  Please let me know if this remains a problem.
