  Switch to the text editor and try for there.

  I’m not very good with HTML and new to all of this, so thanks for your patience! Which button would disable the hyperlink and turn into a video in the text editor? like its supposed to in the visual editor? Thanks so much!

  Why use that method at all? I never ever use it. I use the shortlink and it works every time for me. https://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/youtube/#embedding-with-a-shortcode

  Here you go:

  Which button would disable the hyperlink and turn into a video in the text editor? like its supposed to in the visual editor?

  If you go to the text/HTML editor, you will see this code:

  <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-vhiU9n9hM" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-vhiU9n9hM</a>

  Delete this

  <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-vhiU9n9hM" target="_blank">

  and this

  </a>

  Or simply delete that link entirely and enter [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-vhiU9n9hM] into the Visual editor.
