youtube linking blog thing won’t work?

  I just made a new blog, responsiblehobbes.wordpress.com

  I never added a blog to my youtube before. I went to account, settings, then clicked the “blog setup” tab

  when it asks me for blog service, I do wordpress.com
  when it asks me for username, I do responsiblehobbes.wordpress.com
  then for password I use the password I use to log in to my account (my username to login to wordpress is not the same as the name as my blog)

  it keeps coming up with ‘error, reason unknown’ and won’t let me link it

  can someone explain thanks

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  btw all this is done on youtube’s site, not here obviously

  Your username appears to be zachattackgo actually. Or it might be responsiblehobbes.

  when I try either of those and use the password I use to log in (with zachattackgo, that is) here, it doesn’t work.

  I’m having a similar issue. Privately hosted wordpress blog and I’m using the API from here and the proper URL http://www.oilerslive.com/xmlrpc.php but it keeps coming up error unknown.

  Not sure if this is your problem, but I realized you need to enable the WordPress, Movable Type, MetaWeblog and Blogger XML-RPC publishing protocols.
