Youtube loader and display

  Good day,
  Really love your theme, but need some help please.
  Trying to load plugin called tubepress and it will not allow me to use this plugin. The site is a one pager and in the section of “current work” I want it to do the following:
  -to link to youtube.
  -this section to be able to update as new videos are uploaded to youtube.
  – We want it to display in circle format as shown now on the page
  Can you help? also if I cant use tubepress what other plugin do you suggest. Thanks Cristina

  Hi Christina,

  In order to use and upload plugins, you’ll need to make sure you have a WordPress.com Business Plan.

  For YouTube related plugins, you can have a look here in WordPress.com’s plugin directory and see if any of them meet your needs and if so decide whether or not to move forward with a Business Plan.

  Tubepress seems to a plugin from the WordPress.org plugin directory, plugins meant for self-hosted WordPress sites.

  With a self-hosted WordPress site, a user can use themes and plugins freely, as well as have complete control over the design. If this is something you’d be interested in looking into, I recommend visiting their support forum:

  HI Paul,
  I have the Business plan. And yes my other sites are on my self-hosted wordpress but wordpress org does not support the theme I want. Vicious circle :).
  Any suggestions on a plugin?
  Also can I add CSS to make video’s into circles?

  Got you, I see your situation.

  After doing some research on a solution for creating “circle shaped videos”, the short answer is it might be possible to achieve.

  There doesn’t seem to be any reliable or smooth methods of doing this and the way to implement this feature seems like a little bit more trouble than it’s actually worth. There’s a lot of limitations like browser compatibility, responsiveness, control issues and such.

  I also don’t think there are any plugins that support this feature. If there are, I’m not aware of them.

  I’m actually curious if there are, so I’m going to tag this thread with modlook to see if staff could help out and provide any further insights on this.

  I hope someone gets back to us with this. You know what the client wants he gets and I have to deliver. So Im crossing fingers for a solution.
