Youtube not working on my blog.

  I’ve been trying to upload three youtube videos within the last three days and it doesn’t seem to be working. I’m not sure if that’s because of the bad connection at my end or because i need to use some new code. The one i’ve been using in the fast goes: [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTnUMSm3Zv8&hl=en&fs=1]

  Help!

  Yes, Lizii. But that’s exactly the problem (and why i attached the youtube video address at the end of my question). THAT CODE, the one I’ve been using for the last year and they gave on the thread you mentioned, doesn’t work anymore. Atleast it hasn’t been working for the last three days.

  Hmm, I just put your link into my own blog and it worked just fine. Clear out your cookies etc. and try again?

  This looks unusual:
  =en&fs=1

  That’s not code that I’m used to seeing at the end of a YouTube video URL. The URL you would use on that particular video would actually be:

  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTnUMSm3Zv8

  Perhaps that’s the problem? Or was the video protected at the time? A surprising number of people try to embed videos that say “embedding disabled by request”.

  After trying and failing to upload the video on wordpress, I linked it to my youtube account and went there to check if THAT was working. It wasn’t. The problem stated was “you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe’s Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player”. I can’t get the flash player, so I thought i might turn the java scripts on. So where do i go to get them?!
