Youtube or DailyMotion Videos in sidebar?
-
I’ve been trying and to no avail is this possible or not. Thanks in ahead :)
I tried using a text using both the HTML as well as the tradition wordpress embed for both. -
The YouTube videos are generally too big for a sidebar text widget, and I don’t think we’ve found a successful way to resize them. You could put an image link to one, though. The HTML embed code for YouTube will never work, by the way, in any place on your blog; you need to use the WordPress format.

why not try the new Vodpod Widget. It’s like a link of youtube videos you like to put/publish on your list. And by clicking one of the pod’s videos, it opens a mini-player without leaving your blog.

Hi, does wordpress happen to support clocklink at http://www.clocklink.com/? I wish to put a clock up at the sidebar but simply couldn’t. Any suggestions?

Solotune, I am afraid not. Clocklink creates that clocks using javascript and all javascript is removed from wordpress.com for security issues. No scripts are allowed except those that are approved by the staff. Sorry!
