Youtube posting & problem

I have posted youtube video’s on a different blog but not this specific one that I am trying to do now. So I am familiar with how to do it. Unfortunately, when I try to post them to this blog http://lifeloveandhappiness.wordpress.com/ when I click the send to editor button, nothing happens. It doesn’t matter how long I wait or how many times I click it. I’m quite sure that I’m doing it right because I’m simply copying and pasting the embedded url but it still won’t work.
Do I need to specifically do something in my setup of my blog to allow it to post videos? Or is this just a glitch in the system today? Or in Youtube?

I’ve never tried the embed option, but the FAQ instructions here do work in the end.

Thanks for your help justjennifer. I forgot that is a way to upload them also. Unfortunately, it just shows the code and not the video when I do that too.
Is anyone else having an issue with youtube today? Or am I all alone in that situation. If I know it’s them, then I can just wait and see if it works tomorrow. But if it’s me (and I’m not above buying that), then I trust someone smarter than me can walk me thru the problem.
Thank you again JJ for your help. Is there anything else to try after you have done those things?

Try entering it in the code tab, press save and continue editing, then use preview to see it. Sometimes that works when the visual editor doesn’t seem to be.
I assume you’re using [youtube=url] to place it in your blog.

Well so far i tried only once and it worked out well with me. Lemme just spell out what i did A. I uploaded a video on youtube and then youtube guys provided me the embedded code.
B. I copied the code from youtube.
C. I pasted it in my Windows live writer at the end of my description of video and then i clicked on publish and it worked like a charm.My understanding is that you have a video which you have uploaded in youtube so you must be having the code with you all you need is to past that within your post and that should take care.

Thank You Thank You Thank You Ellaella!!!!! I had tried everything but entering it in the code tab. I hit save & continue editing then previewed it and it was there!!!! By golly, Ellaella, you are a genius!

Yay! Happy ending. The Visual Editor is a great thing, unless you want to enter code. :)
