Youtube related videos cannot be switched off
-
Last year Youtube introduced an annoying feature that puts related videos at the end of the video. The problem is that these videos are sometimes totally inappropriate for the type of blog the video appears in. i.e. schools or church videos followed by porn, lewd jokes etc.
This subject was raised in a forum last year and appeared to be resolved reading the old forum. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/youtube-embedded-videos?replies=63#post-85583
However a year later I cannot seem to turn off these related videos by adding &rel=0 to the end of the reference. i.e.
[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X14n4GKNsXs&rel=0]Youtube advice is here – http://www.google.com/support/youtube/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=75301 – this does appear to work if the player is embedded in your own web page.
BUT is this feature switchable or not from thepoint of view of wordpress embed? If it is WordPress does not mention it in their support pages here.

WordPress now supports the &rel=0 parameter. http://support.wordpress.com/videos/4/ Thanks guys that is really impressive.
