Youtube shortcodes are ignored, rendered as text
-
Youtube shortcodes are being ignored on my WordPress Network.
I’ve inserted a sample shortcode from http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/youtube/–the third example (
[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JaNH56Vpg-A&w=320]).If I paste into a blog entry, all that happens is the & is converted to &, and the text is rendered directly without interpreting.
This problem happens regardless of whether I paste into the Visual or HTML views.
If I paste the Youtube URL directly (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JaNH56Vpg-A), it doesn’t work, either. You can see where this is happening at http://blog.smu.edu/testblogt/2011/01/06/this-is-a-first-post/.
