YouTube Sidebar Widget

  I am trying to add YouTube to my blog. I found a post that referred me to the Daikos YouTube Widget. This required I download a zipped folder onto my computer and download components into my WordPress set-up folder. I didn’t even know I had one of these. Is there an easier way to add this widget into my sidebar? Thank you.

  Youtubes cannot be added to your sidebar except via the Vodpod widget as far as I know. What you’re describing is a plugin for independently-hosted WordPress blogs. You don’t have a WordPress set-up folder, because you’re hosted here. That will not work for you.

  But the vodpod widget can put videos of ALL formats in your sidebar. Check out http://vodpod.com for the widget code. It works very well.
