  On the homepage of my site, the youtube link i posted is not appearing correctly. Only the link is showing not the actual video. Please help!

  That’s because you did not post the youtube shortcode as described here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/youtube/#embedding-with-a-shortcode
