YouTube video disappears from my blog

Hi! Sorry – this is a newbie question and I did try looking thru support articles and the forums, but I can’t find a specific answer to my specific problem which is –
I have embedded 3 videos on my post, which show up erratically – some show up at one time, some don’t, and sometimes all don’t show up.
Based on what I found here, I have tried the following –
1.Embedded the Embed code direct in my post which WordPress then amends to a shorter code.
2.Used the link in Youtube, pasted that in the video link section below my post, then added to the post.
3.Cleared my cache and restarted the browser.
Still no joy!
The videos seem to show up as and when they want to.
Any suggestions/tips/solutions ?

I did NOT use the links above to embed – I used the entire bit under the ‘Embed’ section attached to these vids.
What am I doing wrong?

Google videos seem to be quite flakey lately. I’ve noticed it on other sites. The video will not show until you scroll down to where the top edge of the video window (if you could see it) goes behind the top of the browser window, then the video appears.
I’m not sure what the problem is. Perhaps a guru will pop in in a while.

YouTube was just down for a few minutes. I experienced it on YouTubes own website. The whole place was gone.

Ahh, that would explain it. My observations above, have been over several days, and on several sites. Sometimes the video is there and sometimes not. If it isn’t, scroll down a little to where the top edge goes behind the upper edge of the browser window, and the video and frame appear. It’s bizarre. Happens on Firefox and also on Safari. Haven’t tried IE.

Did you see this FAQ: http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/07/29/how-do-i-post-a-youtube-video/ ? It gives clear instructions on how to post youtube videos (from a search of the FAQ using “youtube” as a search term).

Msg to the sacred path – I did see that FAQ, that’s what I followed in the first place to get the YouTube vids up on my blog.
But they still did vanish and re-appear after following the instructions ; think it might be a YouTube glitch.Tks so much for your help! -
