Youtube video embeding issue

  I am trying to embede a youtube video into a blog post. I have done this in the past without issues. The last few attempts, I have not been able to. I am breaking the link and ensuring the youtube link is on a line by itself without any whitespace, but I’m still having an issue. What is going on?

  Have you tried using the shortcode? it works every time for me so I don’t bother with the other method at all. http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/youtube/#embedding-with-a-shortcode
