YouTube video in the sidebar.

  I am trying to add a YouTube widget in the sidebar of my blog. I want to be able to select a YouTube clip that I like and show it in my sidebar, so that people can watch it on my blog. I don’t want to add it as a post or a page. Can anyone help me to do this please?

  The youtube widget cannot be used on free hosted wordpress.com blogs. It can only be used on self hosted wordpress.org blogs. Youtubes cannot be added to your sidebar on via the Vodpod widget. http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/vodpod/

  Edit: Youtubes cannot be added to your sidebar on a free hosted wordpress.com blog except by using the Vodpod widget. http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/vodpod/
