youtube video shows up only as a link

  youtube link won’t show up as a video – just a link. how can i make it a standard box that you watch

  Howdy,

  When editing the post or page that the link is on, can you click on it, then click on the “Unlink” icon in the editor? It’ll look like a broken link right next to the icon to add a link?

  For the auto-embed to work, the address of the video needs to be not a link. When it’s a link, we err on the side of caution and not embed it, in case you really did want to link to it. :-)
